Department Overview

Engineering Services supports the Pre-Sales and After-Sales business components of MBUSA and various quality organizations within Mercedes-Benz AG. The Engineering Services team is dedicated to providing exemplary customer service, with a high focus on technical support and quality. Our customers are varied from the Mercedes-Benz dealers, consumers, MBUSA, Mercedes-Benz AG, and external providers such as Independent Service Providers, Suppliers, and Governmental Agencies (NHTSA, EPA, CARB, DOJ).

Responsibilities

Mercedes-Benz USA Product Technical Support Junior Associate Consultant (JAC) Overview and Responsibilities The JAC will be embedded within the Product Technical Support (PTS) team and interface with the engineers. Here the JAC will assist with technical documentation, training, and issue mitigation for the products and services MBUSA provides its dealers and customers. Primary responsibilities of the JAC:

• Support monthly New Vehicle Sales planning by collecting model data, updating planning files, and preparing briefings on production, wholesale, retail, and stock.
• Assisting the MBUSA service engineers in identifying, tracking, and resolving issues in the Mercedes-Benz model lines sold and serviced in the US (NAFTA) market
• Participating in component level tear down and root cause analysis
• Interfacing with the other business units of MBUSA on PTS’s behalf in conjunction with
• Management in order to support our dealers and products
• Maintain calendars, department meetings, budgets, and expenses reports
• Process improvements and procedure updates including charts, tables, and brief summaries for stakeholder meetings


Qualifikationen

Required Qualifications

• Students who are currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Master’s program or have graduated no more than 12 months prior to internship start date.
• Available from April 2026 to October 2026
• Hybrid in-person schedule, up to 28 hours maximum per week
• Proof of Proficiency (Portfolio, Recommendation Letters, etc.)


Preferred Skillset

• Proof of Proficiency (Portfolio, Recommendation Letters, etc.)
• Working level aptitude with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Strong customer oriented background
• Experience in integration of systems
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in fast‑paced environments
• Database and data management skills, reporting, and interpretation
• Strong oral and written communication skills
