Internship Description

Summary:


The Sustainability Intern will work closely with our Sustainability Manager and Green Team to support projects related to environmental impact, energy efficiency, waste reduction, sustainable sourcing, and employee engagement. This internship offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to make a real difference in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for sustainability metrics (e.g., energy use, waste diversion, emissions).
• Project Manage Key Project (Driving CO2e reduction)
• Research best practices in corporate sustainability, climate action, and circular economy strategies.
• Support implementation of internal sustainability campaigns or events (e.g., Earth Week, zero-waste initiatives).
• Contribute to content development for sustainability reports, newsletters, or intranet updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track progress on sustainability goals.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in current processes or environmental impact.
• Support Green Team initiatives and projects
• Support Quality/Compliance/Sustainability team as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Public Policy Business or a related field.
• Excellent research, writing and communication skills
• Knowledge and strong interest in sustainability, climate change, and environmental initiatives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel); familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task; Perform duties with a degree of efficiency and accuracy
