Intern: Our Mental Health Internship Program is designed to complement
your academic coursework by providing hands-on, in-person clinical
experience. Here, you will gain confidence and professional growth while
managing your own client caseload in a supportive and structured
environment. Interning with Catholic Charities offers the unique
opportunity to engage with a diverse client base, including those who
may have limited access to mental health care due to financial
constraints. What You Will Do: Provide in-office psychotherapy and
counseling under the supervision of experienced clinicians. Maintain
case documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress
notes. Collaborate with a dedicated clinical team and benefit from
direct mentorship and supervision. Participate in training and
discussions aimed at developing culturally competent and empathetic care

Internship duration of two consecutive semesters or ideally a one-year
commitment. Expected availability: 10 to 24 hours per week during office
hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM). Start Date: Spring
2027 and Fall 2027 Required Qualifications: Enrollment in a master\'s
degree program in Social Work or a counseling-related field. Strong
interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player committed to forming
impactful relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills;
bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus but not required
