Walker Products is seeking motivated and driven college students for our Summer 2026 Engineering Internship Program. This program provides hands-on experience across multiple business and engineering functions within a leading automotive aftermarket manufacturer.
This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience, work on impactful projects, and learn from experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.
Internship Areas
We are currently seeking students pursuing degrees in the following fields:
• Industrial Management / Operations
• Electrical Engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering
Position Summary
Interns will work closely with department leaders and team members on meaningful projects that support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities will vary based on area of focus but will provide exposure to real business challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with department-specific projects and initiatives
• Analyze data and provide insights to support decision-making
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas
• Support process improvements and operational efficiency efforts
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments
• Complete a capstone-style project or presentation at the conclusion of the internship
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Pursuing a degree in one of the listed fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
