Occupational Safety & Health Intern

Location: Paramus, NJ

Work Format: Full-Time, Hybrid

Coach USA, a leading provider of transportation services and mobility solutions across North America, invites motivated students to join our paid Summer 2026 Internship Program, running from May 20, 2026, through August 7, 2026. This 12-week experience connects classroom learning with real-world business operations through meaningful projects, mentorship, and professional development opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Role Summary

The Occupational Safety & Health Intern will gain experience in environmental health and safety practices within the transportation industry. The role will focus on supporting certification initiatives, policy updates, and program enhancements to strengthen Coach USA’s safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the organization’s ISO 14001 certification process
• Support the review and updating of safety policies and procedures
• Contribute to enhancements in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs
• Participate in safety audits, training updates, or compliance tracking as assigned


Skills/Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Transportation, Safety, or related fields
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Interest in compliance, safety, and continuous improvement
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders


Compensation

$18.00/hr. - $23.00/hr.
