About The Role
Join our Silicon Validation Team as a DDR Silicon Validation Engineer Intern, directly shaping the reliability of next-generation, high-performance processors. You'll ensure DDR memory quality, performance, and compliance through comprehensive validation plan development, execution, and debugging (functional, SI, stress). We are a proactive, collaborative team, thriving on solving complex technical hurdles to foster skill development and a profound sense of accomplishment.

Internship period is full-time for summer 2026 (May/June - August/September)
What You’ll Achieve
• Validate DDR5 system for Ampere's next generation SoC.
• Set up and optimize advanced DDR pre/post-silicon validation environments.
• Performing critical Signal Integrity (SI) / Power Integrity (PI) debugging.
• Validate silicon performance across PVT corners through bare-metal test development, execution, and debugging.
About You
• Working knowledge of DDR or Memory Subsystems.
• Solid C/CC++ Programming skills.
• Effective in applying Python for automation and test development
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes.
• Additional skills highly desired: CPU Architecture, x86/ARM Architecture, Previous Post-Silicon Validation Experience
Education
Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Bachelor's degree will also be considered.
