Internship Details:
• Status: Paid Internship
• Schedule: Full-time (7am-4pm CT) and Hybrid (On-site Mon-Wed, Remote Thurs & Fri)
• Duration: June 2026 – October 2026
Position Summary:
The HR Intern – Consultant Experience will support the HR team in delivering a smooth, responsive, and high-quality experience throughout the consultant lifecycle. This role will assist with onboarding coordination, timecard follow-up, consultant record maintenance, and day-to-day communication with internal teams and consultants.
This is a hands-on development opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in Human Resources, staffing, and people operations. The intern will gain exposure to HR systems, consultant care practices, compliance-focused processes, and cross-functional partnership with Sales & Delivery teams in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Day to Day:
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and help ensure completion of required onboarding paperwork and pre-employment steps
• Guide consultants through onboarding and redeployment processes with oversight and support from the HR team
• Track consultant timecards and proactively follow up on missing or incomplete submissions
• Maintain and update consultant records, documentation, and HRIS data accurately and timely
• Assist in responding to basic consultant questions related to onboarding, timesheets, and general policies or processes
• Support documentation, workflow processes, and administrative tasks under the guidance of senior HR team members
• Partner with Sales & Delivery teams by providing proactive, accurate updates related to onboarding progress, timecard status, and consultant changes
• Collaborate with the HR team to help ensure a smooth consultant experience through timely follow-up, strong communication, and consistent service
• Assist with special projects, process improvement initiatives, reporting, and other HR operational needs as assigned
Qualifications:
• Current college student (Junior or Senior) or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated customer service mindset with a responsive, professional, and empathetic approach
• Ability to follow structured processes, ask questions, and escalate appropriately when needed
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Prior administrative or office experience is a plus
• Exposure to HR systems or databases is a plus
