Job Description
The Wellness Program Intern will work with the Wellness Team to implement City-wide wellness programming. Interns will engage in needs assessments; program development and program implementation. Interns will assist with administrative roles associated with the development and implementation of our City-wide Wellness Program. Interns will also help maintain the internal Wellness website on SharePoint, Wellness e-newsletters, and various other communication tools. Interns may also assist with large wellness programs and projects such as health screenings, and the Well Days Incentive Program.
Note to Applicants: This position is for the Summer semester, – May - August 2026
Essential Duties
• Assist with program marketing
• Plan and implement a multi-week incentive program
• Assist with planning and conducting large wellness events
• Work with City departments on their wellness needs.
• Maintain the Wellness website
• Conduct fitness room orientations and stretch sessions

TIME COMMITMENT AND AVAILABILITY
• Schedule is flexible based on the student’s schedule
• Occasional early morning and evening hours
• 30-40 hours per week
Required
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Completed Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science or equivalent experience
