Role Description
The Students for Debbie Spielberg Field Leadership Program is an internship opportunity based on-site in Bethesda, MD. Interns will assist the campaign team with voter outreach, organizing campaign events, and managing communications efforts to amplify Debbie Spielberg’s vision for District 1. Responsibilities include voter engagement through canvassing and phone banking, building relationships within the community, conducting research on key policy issues, and supporting candidate events. This internship offers hands-on learning opportunities to engage in civic participation and contribute to a grassroots campaign.

• Skills in research, writing, and analyzing policy issues are highly valued.
• Passion for public service, community engagement, and utilizing principles of equity and justice in political advocacy.
• Enthusiasm for grassroots campaigning, including canvassing, phone banking, and event coordination.
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for specific campaign activities when needed.
• Enrolled in or a graduate of a degree program in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or related fields.
