Key Responsibilities
• Coordinates all activities related to procurement beginning with intent to purchase through delivery
• Responsible for supplier metrics, approvals, and risk assessments for assigned group of suppliers
• Analyzes the requirements, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is needed
• Issues RFQ’s and PO’s and/or IDWA’s in accordance with company and government regulations
• Implements purchase contracts that comply with company and government regulations
• Assures material is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, meets the quality standards of the company and aligns with inventory level expectations
• Assist in the coordination of supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics
• Support the procurement team in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contracts
• Assist in analyzing inventory levels and demand forecasts to optimize inventory management
• Help maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and supplier information
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain
• Support the implementation of supply chain initiatives and projects
• Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing reports for management review
• Participate in meetings and training sessions to gain exposure to various aspects of supply chain management


Required Skills
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization


Desired Skills
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts and principles is preferred
• Previous internship or work experience in supply chain management or manufacturing is a plus
