JOB OPPORTUNITY
JOB TITLE: Psychologist Intern
TERM AND HOURS OF POSITION: 7.5 Hours Per Day
Responsibilities And Duties
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Student Support Services, and under the indirect
supervision of site principals, and within the scope of the intern's previous coursework and
training, the intern provides a continuum of general school psychological services to the children
and families of Standard School District, to include direct individual and group counseling,
behavior management, assessment, agency liaison activities, behavior consultation with parents
and teachers.
Qualifications
Required
• Eligibility for internship through a university school psychology training program approved by the California Commission for Teacher Credentialing.
Desired
• Training/experience/coursework in applied behavior analysis/ecological-behavioral methods, behavioral consultation, systems-wide behavioral intervention methods.
• Training/experience/coursework in non-traditional assessment methods, such as functional assessment, curriculum-based assessment, ecological assessment, etc.
• Training/experience/coursework in curriculum and academic interventions
