Role Description
This is an internship role for a Future Care Professional based on-site in Rochester, NY. The intern will engage in hands-on activities aimed at supporting the care and development of program participants.
Responsibilities include planning and implementing educational and developmental activities, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, assisting senior professionals in their duties, and engaging participants through meaningful interactions. Interns will also have the opportunity to assist in program evaluation and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
• Ability to plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate developmental activities
• Attention to detail and skills in organizing, multitasking, and time management
• Enthusiasm for learning, adaptability, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Interest or educational background in education, child development, social work, or a related field
• Previous experience working with children or providing care services is a plus
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all participants
