The Role
We’re looking for a curious, kind, and driven Summer Intern to work shoulder-to-shoulder with our founding team.
This is a true startup internship: you’ll touch growth, marketing, patient experience, community outreach, and operations—sometimes all in the same day. If you want to learn how a healthcare company actually gets built, this is the seat.
You’ll report directly to the founding team and have real ownership over real projects from week one.
What You’ll Do
• Support patient growth and experience
• Help bring new families into Wellnest and ensure every touchpoint feels warm, personal, and well-organized.
• Shape our brand and presence
• Contribute to how Wellnest shows up across social, digital, and in our physical space—through storytelling, content, and thoughtful details.
• Build community and partnerships
• Strengthen relationships with referring providers, local partners, and organizations across northern Utah.
• Support events and patient programming
• Assist with educational talks, classes, and community experiences that make Wellnest more than a clinic.
• Wear many hats across the business
• Jump into research, operations, and special projects as needed—early-stage means broad exposure and hands-on learning.
What You’ll Learn
• How an early-stage healthcare company goes from launch to scale—the strategy, tradeoffs, and behind-the-scenes realities
• Patient acquisition, funnel building, and converting interest into trust in a high-stakes clinical setting
• Healthcare marketing done with empathy—HIPAA-aware, patient-first, and never gimmicky
• Social media strategy and execution: content planning, video editing, analytics, and performance insights
• B2B referral marketing: how clinics build reputation with physicians over time
• What it’s like to work alongside MDs, nurses, mental health providers, and startup operators
Who You Are
• Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate (all majors welcome)
• Proactive with a “no task too big or too small” mindset
• Warm, professional, and emotionally intelligent
• Strong writer and confident communicator (in person and on camera)
• Self-directed and able to take ownership of projects
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record (local travel required)
Bonus:
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Notion, or Meta Business Suite
• Background in healthcare, hospitality, or community-building
Logistics
• Location: On-site at Wellnest Fertility
• 1491 E Ridgeline Dr, South Ogden, UT
• (with travel to referring offices across northern Utah)
• Timing: Summer 2026
• Full-time (~40 hrs/week) for ~10–12 weeks (flexible dates)
• Compensation: Paid internship
• Reports to: Founding team
