Internship Description

• Develop a foundational understanding of auditing concepts and principles
• Perform analytical procedures across a variety of financial statement accounts
• Prepare and update workpapers in support of audit testing
• Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email
• Assist in the preparation of journal entries
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze and organize data
• Adhere to firm policies regarding the proper handling, use, and disposal of documents
• Identifying, researching, and reviewing various issues and communicating that information to the team.
• Executing additional assigned projects.

Requirements

• Qualifications:
• Completion of Intermediates I and II courses prior to the internship.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 with a minimum of 3.0 in accounting classes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to proofread for accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
