Aprajita.art is a contemporary art studio founded by award-winning artist Aprajita Lal, dedicated to creating, exhibiting, and teaching art using watercolors, acrylics, and oils. The studio hosts workshops, exhibits original artwork, and operates an online print store.
As a Studio Intern, you will work closely with the artist and gain hands-on, mentorship-driven experience in both the creative and business sides of a professional art practice.
Key Responsibilities & Learning Areas:
• Assist with studio setup, organization, and daily operations
• Organize artworks and maintain inventory and documentation
• Support social media content creation and basic website updates
• Assist with workshop and exhibition preparation
• Gain exposure to client, collector, and gallery communication
• Learn fundamentals of pricing, branding, and art business workflows
Qualifications:
• Strong interest in art and creative entrepreneurship
• Basic familiarity with watercolor, acrylic, or oil mediums
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and follow direction
• Understanding of major social media platforms
