🎯 YOUR MISSION:
Symbio is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern who is eager to get hands-on experience and grow in three key areas of the automotive industry. This is a unique chance to work directly on a prototype hydrogen truck and be part of a passionate, innovative team shaping the future of zero-emission transportation.
During this internship, you will:
• Support design reviews with process requirements inputs (serviceability, ease of assembly)
• Support defining the internal manufacturing process including tooling and fixture needs, build sequence, process documentation
• Support takt time definition
• Support optimizing the internal manufacturing process
• Support application process development
• Support production line validation
• Support development of inline quality checks and end of line testing
During this time, you will learn or deepen your knowledge on:
• Automotive packaging design and understanding the different input constraints
• Hands on process development
• Vehicle assembly
• Imperial and SI measurement conversion
• Risk management
• Cross functional team interaction
• Lessons learned
• Documentation and reporting
• Time management

You're curious, motivated, and excited to roll up your sleeves.
You are not scared of creating documentation.
You are completing or have graduated from a Bachelor or Master Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Basic automotive knowledge and strong safety awareness are essential. Most importantly, you’re eager to learn and be part of a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment where your contributions truly make a difference.

Our company creates hydrogen systems which are integrated in different types of vehicles.
Since the joint venture in 2019 we have grown from 40 to hundreds of employees in France, and we are now growing our US team as well. In 2021, Symbio entered the US Market, to develop its manufacturing footprint and contribute to meet the growing interest and demands for clean mobility technology.
