We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Supplier Quality Intern to join our customer team supporting gas turbine blades and vanes programs. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a critical aerospace/energy supply chain, focusing on improving supplier performance and supporting strategic procurement decisions.
The intern will work closely with Supplier Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to drive initiatives related to on-time delivery (OTD), quality improvement and data-driven sourcing strategy for blades and vanes components.
What You Will Do
• Support projects aimed at improving supplier on-time delivery (OTD) and product quality performance for blades and vanes.
• Analyze supplier performance data (delivery, quality, concessions, lead times) to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in developing dashboards, reports and insights to support strategic procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE’s) and Supply Chain teams on ongoing supplier development initiatives.
• Conduct research and data analysis to support risk assessment, capacity planning and sourcing strategies.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support documentation, reporting and tracking of key supply chain and quality metrics.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support business and operational priorities.
What You Will Bring
• Currently enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet business deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a business environment.
Pay Range: ($12 to $16/hr.)
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements
This role is considered an on-site position located in Houston,TX
• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
