Sales & Marketing Internship – The SIR Home Sharks

SIR Home Improvements is seeking ambitious college students to join the SIR Home Sharks, our Sales & Marketing Internship Program.
You'll represent SIR Home Improvements at fairs, festivals, community events, retail locations, and Western Michigan University athletic events. Your primary responsibility will be engaging homeowners, generating interest in our services, and setting appointments for our professional Sales Consultants. You'll gain hands-on experience using real-world sales techniques while earning competitive pay and building skills that employers actively seek.
What You'll Be Doing
• Represent SIR Home Improvements at community events and promotional locations throughout Southwest Michigan
• Engage homeowners in conversation and build rapport
• Explain promotions, products, and services
• Generate leads and set appointments for Sales Consultants
• Learn professional sales and communication techniques
• Participate in sales training and coaching sessions
• Work with a competitive, energetic team focused on achieving goals
What You'll Learn

Compensation
• $16.00 per hour base pay
• Additional Demo Pay for appointments you generate

Requirements
• Current student pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related field at Western Michigan University
• Strong communication skills
• Positive, outgoing personality
• Competitive and goal-oriented mindset
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during events
• Must have reliable transportation, a drivers license and the ability to drive to event locations throughout Southwest Michigan
No prior sales experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know.
