About Nu
We’re on a mission to help great digital media orgs thrive in a world where AI search has disrupted discovery and social platforms command such a large share of attention.
Our first product, TEND, is a platform for multiplying the reach and scale of premium content. TEND automagically transforms content (article, video, podcast) into a dozen new, native, platform-perfect assets to reach audiences where they are spending time.
The Opportunity
This is a 3-month educational internship for students and recent graduates who want to learn B2B sales and client success at an early-stage startup. You'll work directly with our founders on real sales conversations, publisher outreach, and client onboarding — getting a ground-level view of how a startup finds and keeps customers in the media industry.
What You'll Learn
• How to prospect, reach out to, and build relationships with publishing and media companies
• Supporting and eventually leading product demos and discovery calls
• Managing a sales pipeline and CRM from first contact to close
• Onboarding new clients and helping them get real value out of TEND
• How to navigate the organizational dynamics of publisher and media company teams
• Professional communication and client-facing skills
What We're Looking For
• Strong communication and writing skills and attention to detail
• Genuine interest in media, publishing and the content industry
• Comfortable initiating new relationships and following through
• Organized and reliable. Capable of managing multiple accounts and projects at once
• Curious about how B2B startups sell and grow
• Current student or recent graduate looking to build real-world sales and client experience
Program Structure
This internship is built around hands-on learning. You'll participate in weekly 1:1 mentorship with founders, co-teaching sessions where the team shares discoveries, and real client work with direct guidance. The 3-month program may lead to a full-time role based on mutual fit.
