TheRealAutograph’s Fall 2026 Sports Media Internship Program offers students hands-on experience in sports media, social content, live e-commerce, and digital storytelling.
Important: This is an unpaid internship for academic credit only. Applicants must be eligible to receive school or college credit through their high school, college, university, or approved academic program.
The Fall 2026 Internship Program will run from August 10, 2026 through January 3, 2027, lasting approximately 21 weeks at our brand new state-of-the-art HQ in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The program is hybrid, with in-person opportunities for live activations and remote work for content and social media responsibilities. Interns are expected to commit 15+ hours per week, with flexibility around class schedules.

TRA specializes in fully authenticated sports memorabilia, trading cards, mystery boxes, private signings with Hall-of-Fame athletes, and live-selling entertainment across platforms including TikTok Live, Whatnot, and eBay Live. With a team of 70+ employees, TRA has built a fast-growing operation that brings sports fans, collectors, and newcomers together through interactive live breaks, engaging digital content, and community-driven entertainment.
Role Description: TheRealAutograph is seeking a Sports Media Content Creator Intern to support our growing social media and content operation across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about sports, understands social media culture, and knows how to identify moments, storylines, debates, and reactions that can be turned into engaging short-form content. The Sports Media Content Creator Intern will help find trending sports clips, edit these clips using basic mobile-friendly apps like CapCut, write hooks and captions, and support daily content posting for TheRealAutograph’s social channels.
Responsibilities include:
• Researching trending sports moments, athlete storylines, viral clips, debates, and fan reactions
• Identifying content opportunities across the NFL, NBA, MLB, soccer, UFC, and other major sports
• Repurposing sports content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Writing hooks, captions, and on-screen text ideas for social media posts
• Helping organize clips and content for reposting across TRA’s social platforms
• Supporting the marketing team with daily content execution and creative ideas
• Weekly reporting of videos created and performance to the Marketing team
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old and either a current high school senior graduating in 2026, an incoming college freshman, or an incoming college sophomore for the Fall 2026 semester
• Must be eligible to receive school or college credit for this unpaid internship
• Strong knowledge of sports and sports media culture & an overall passion for sports
• Passion for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and short-form content
• Ability to recognize viral moments, strong hooks, and engaging sports storylines
• Strong writing skills for captions, hooks, and social media copy
• Organized, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced content environment
• Basic video editing or clipping experience using CapCut is a plus, but not required
Preferred majors include Sports Broadcasting, Marketing, Communications, Media Production, Sports Management, Business, or related fields.
The platform, apps, and tools to find, identify, and post these clips will be provided to you. We are looking for someone passionate about sports & the willingness to learn while simultaneously receiving college-credit to kickstart your career!
