Internship Description

About The Firm

LvlUp Ventures is one of the ten most active venture capital firms globally, with a proven, value-driven approach to investing in and accelerating high-growth startups. To date, LvlUp has backed approximately 1,000 companies and reviews 20,000+ startup applications annually across its funds and accelerators.

The firm operates 10+ funds and startup programs, powered by a world-class infrastructure spanning capital, distribution, partnerships, and operational support. LvlUp is hyper-focused on identifying, backing, and accelerating category-defining companies at every stage — from pre-seed through growth. Our differentiated model goes beyond capital. We work hands-on with founders to help them scale faster, build durable advantages, and unlock step-function growth.

The Opportunity

LvlUp Ventures is seeking a highly driven Venture Capital Intern to join our team for Fall 2026. This role is designed for a true go-getter—someone who can operate independently, execute relentlessly, generate ideas, and own projects end-to-end.

You’ll work directly with the LvlUp Ventures team across investing, platform, and portfolio initiatives, gaining hands-on exposure to how a high-velocity, institutional-grade venture firm operates in practice.

This is an unpaid internship with a clear path to a paid return offer (intern or full-time) based on performance.

The role is remote with an option to work in-person/hybrid at our Miami or NYC office locations.

As a VC Intern, you will be embedded in the day-to-day execution of LvlUp Ventures. This is not a passive or observational role—you’ll be expected to take initiative, move fast, and deliver.

You’ll support live investment activity, founder programs, ecosystem initiatives, and internal projects—often owning workstreams after training and apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team with:

Deal flow support and opportunity screening
Market research, competitive analysis, and trend tracking
Internal memos, dashboards, and portfolio tracking
Contribute to founder-facing and ecosystem initiatives, including:

Accelerators, pitch competitions, demo days, and programs
New platform ideas, tools, or processes to improve execution
Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions—then help implement them

Work cross-functionally with investing, platform, and operations teams

Take on ad-hoc, high-impact projects as they arise (fast-moving environment)
Help run programs including the venture scout global program and more
Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone who:

Is a self-starter and thrives with autonomy
Wants real responsibility, not busywork
Is comfortable operating in ambiguity and figuring things out
Has strong judgment, follow-through, and execution discipline
1–2+ prior startup internships (venture, startup, accelerator, operator role, consulting, or similar)
Past or current founder experience is a major plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Comfortable juggling multiple workstreams at once
High integrity, high energy, and founder-first mindset
Interested in venture capital, startups, and company-building as a career path
