Role Description The RN Aesthetic Nurse Trainee internship is an on-site role based in Cary, NC. The trainee will shadow and support experienced aesthetic providers in performing consultations, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting with non-invasive procedures such as injectables and skincare treatments under appropriate supervision. Daily responsibilities include taking patient histories, documenting care in accordance with clinical standards, providing pre- and post-treatment education, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. The role also involves learning treatment protocols, observing patient assessments, participating in staff trainings, and maintaining strict adherence to infection control and patient confidentiality practices. This internship is designed to build foundational aesthetic nursing skills for a licensed RN seeking experience in medical aesthetics.
Qualifications
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong interest in aesthetic medicine, cosmetic procedures, and patient education in a clinical setting.
• Solid clinical assessment skills, including vital signs, health history review, and documentation aligned with nursing standards.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols, maintain infection control practices, and prioritize patient safety at all times.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, compassionate guidance to patients.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and participate in ongoing training related to injectables, skincare, and device-based treatments.
• Previous clinical experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or outpatient care is beneficial but not required.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health records or clinical documentation systems
• Training Program Fee is $899 and this includes a full didactic training with access to elite training modules through companies in which we have been using for years for training and to purchase products, and that are paid for by the company. Hands-on training is also included. There is no restricted time limit in which the training has to be completed. Training and certification is based on when the trainer and trainee both feel comfortable to begin looking and apply applying for positions for an aesthetic injector role. RN trainer Will
offer superb reference for the trainees applications and résumé and will assist in looking for positions. Once training training is completed and certified.
