Internship Description

Stryten Energy builds batteries. Batteries that power your world. From cars, trucks, and boats to forklifts, railways, and UPS systems, Stryten batteries offer endurance and reliability. For our transportation batteries, we work directly with retail partners to put batteries on their shelves and then into your vehicles. For our motive and network power batteries, we sell directly to our customers.

Our Salina facility is part of the transportation division and is located at 413 E Berg Road. The internship will begin in May of 2027 and end in August 2027, and will work 40 hours a week. This is a paid opportunity, but housing is not provided, so you must have both housing and transportation.

You will help with our increasing automation needs across our manufacturing facility. The role will have visibility in our pasting, assembly, and formation operations from a manufacturing efficiency rate, operator safety, evaluating existing controls for improvements, and uptime standard. You will help Stryten as we drive to the next level of manufacturing automation. You will thrive on the responsibility and take pride knowing the impact you’ll have in this position.

• Use standard procedures, simulate, and test PLCs for automation, specifically around the application of robotics and its integration with the battery manufacturing process
• Where applicable, increase production speed at the current quality requirements and uptime
• Grow knowledge of the facility team and improve documentation
• Opportunity to present what you have learned at the end of your internship

We Are Looking For Students
