Role Description The Events Intern will support the planning and execution of school and /or parent events on and off campus, including community gatherings, fundraisers, and special programs. This internship role is on-site in Costa Mesa, CA and is unpaid.
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple events and tasks with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with staff, families, and vendors.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive working relationships.
• Comfort with basic office tools and technology (e.g., email, spreadsheets, shared calendars, presentation software).
• Willingness to perform hands-on tasks such as event setup, breakdown, and materials handling.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a service-oriented attitude when supporting school events.
• Interest in event planning, education, or community engagement; prior volunteer or school involvement is beneficial.
• Availability to work on-site in Costa Mesa, CA during school hours and occasional special event times.
