Role Description:
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Intern located in Nashville, TN working in the music industry. The Intern will support various departments in their day-to-day tasks, including assisting with research, preparing documents, organizing events, and supporting digital marketing efforts. The role provides hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment. Candidate should have a general interest in country music and surrounding genres.


Duties may include:
• Help keep documents, content, and project management software up to date (press photos, riders, touring documents, etc.) so they’re easily shareable with team members and promoters.
• Support marketing and announcement plans by updating artist platforms (websites, Seated, Bandsintown, Facebook, etc.) with confirmed show information.
• Compile reports and track campaign or touring metrics, pulling and organizing data into presentable formats.
• Assist with social media schedules, brainstorm creative ideas, and contribute to marketing campaigns to grow artist platforms.
• Contribute to administrative tasks such as updating spreadsheets and databases, filing, scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and helping with office projects.
• Pitch in on creative tasks such as making graphics, and drafting content
• Support the team at industry events, award shows, press events, and content shoots, when applicable.
• Collaborate with internal teams and fellow interns on a final project, sharing creative solutions and ideas to support company initiatives.
• Take initiative, ask questions, and learn as much as possible—this internship is designed to give you hands-on industry experience.


Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in college in a relevant degree program (music business, marketing, communications, etc.)
• Able to commit up to 15 hours per week, in person at our office
• Comfortable with an unpaid internship focused on gaining hands-on industry experience
• Strong research and data analysis skills with the ability to organize and present information clearly
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to balance projects and deadlines
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms, with an eagerness to grow these skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Positive attitude, curiosity, and a genuine passion for music, pop culture, and the entertainment industry
