Debra Grams

Howdy, my name is Debra Grams, and it is a pleaure to join Texas A&M at San Antonio as an EDCI Faculty member.  I started my career in 1981 as a kindergarten teacher in East Central ISD.  My work experiences include teaching, serving as a campus assistant principal and principal.  In June of 2016, I retired from public education after 35 years of service.  Since my retirement, I have worked as a consultant partnering with E.C.I.S.D. as an Instructional Administrative Coach.  My work now centers on building capacity in leaders and future leaders.

I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, going on family trips, visits to Fredericksbury, reading, and volunteering at Elmendorf Community Library.  I look forward to working with our future teachers and growing them into effective teacher leaders.
