Ruby Mannankara-Cabrera


 

Biography

Ruby Mannankara-Cabrera is a Board-Certified Texas and New York Licensed Behavior Analyst currently practicing in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Mannankara-Cabrera received her Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University and completed research on culturally responsive care in behavior analysis. She has been in the field of behavior analysis in various capacities since 2006 and has been a BCBA since 2016. As a clinical director, she oversees behavior analysts and RBTs providing ABA to individuals with autism. Dr. Mannankara-Cabrera supervises and teaches graduate students seeking their fieldwork hours to meet the BACB requirements. 
 
Her research areas include culturally responsive care in behavior analysis, culturally inclusive ethical practices in ABA, cultural humility, and cultural competence for behavior analytic practices.
