Biography

Cassie Clark earned a Bachelor of Science in History from Excelsior College and a Master of Arts in History from Southern New Hampshire University.  She is currently enrolled at Liberty University, working on her Ph.D. in History.  Her higher education was completed entirely online, while on active duty.  She retired from the U.S. Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer in 2022 after 26 years of service, having served as Senior Enlisted Leader to the Secretary of the Navy Staff and as Administration Officer for the staff of Commander Submarine Force Pacific Fleet.  She was a pioneering figure in the integration of women in the Submarine force, which began in 2016.  Since then, she has taught humanities courses at a private school in San Antonio; History survey courses at Texas A&M University-San Antonio; and US History, Vietnam War, and Civil War courses for the University of Maryland Global Campus.
