William Moravits


Biography

Dr. Will Moravits has taught at Texas State for six years as a Lecturer in the Political Science Department. This is his first semester teaching for Texas A&M SA. He has a PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University, as well as a Masters degree in Political Science from Texas State University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station. He primarily teaches introductory American government courses and his specialization is in religion and American political culture, constitutional law and theory, terrorism, firearm policy, and policing/crime in America. He is the author of The Blue Divide: Policing and Race in America (2022). Moravits was born in Uvalde, TX and has lived in Texas his whole life, despite loving to travel with his wife.
