Dr. Han earned his Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from the University of South Dakota and completed postdoctoral research at both the University of South Dakota and North Dakota State University. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Natural Sciences at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, where he teaches courses in inorganic chemistry and its associated laboratory.
His research focuses on simulations of photoexcitation processes, phonon-assisted dynamics, and transport properties in novel nano-structured materials, including quantum dots and carbon nanotubes.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Han has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences.
