Gillian Rodriguez, MA, LPC is a faculty member at Texas A&M University San Antonio and the CEO of Trellis Counseling & Co. PLLC. She specializes in Suicide Ventions, Traumatic Grief Counseling, Perfectionism, Moral Injury. Her most recent presentations have been received at The Texas Counseling Association (2026, 2025), The Lily Conference-Austin (2025), The University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School (2024), Any Baby Can (2024), The American Association of Suicidology (2022), Psych Congress (2021), and The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (2020). Gillian is trained in EMDR, Crisis Response Planning, and Virtual-Reality based therapeutic interventions as well as Trauma and Grief Component Therapy, A.I.D. and Mental Health First Aid. She served as the 2024-2025 President for the Texas Counseling Association Hill Country Chapter and is a certified End-of-Life Doula. She continues to build community connections through participatory research focused on Mass-Casualty and Natural Disaster Events, focusing on clinical interventions and training development for first responders, military, and civilian populations impacted.
