I still remember the awe on my students faces when they first learned to use a microscope and explore the unseen world inside a water droplet. Moments like that, fueling curiosity and igniting potential, drive my passion for education. Over the past 24 years in education I have worn many hats including high school teacher, assistant principal, principal, professor of practice, college program director and college dean.
Today, I continue to working in many areas within education, both on PK-12 and higher education. I teach the new generation of teachers, serve as a school board member for Si Se Puede Schools, and run my own education consulting business. And as a Adjunct Professor at Texas A & M San Antonio, I channel my passion for education into empowering new college students with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in college and their future careers.
