I still remember the awe on my students faces when they first learned to use a microscope and explore the unseen world inside a water droplet. Moments like that, which fuel curiosity and ignite potential, drive my passion for education. Over the past 24 years in education, I have worn many hats, including high school teacher, assistant principal, principal, professor, college program director, and college dean.

Today, I continue to work in many areas within education, both in PK-12 and higher education. I teach the new generation of teachers, traditional and dual credit undergraduate students, and run my own education consulting business. And as an Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M-San Antonio, I channel my passion for education into empowering new college students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in college and in their future careers.
