Biography
As a socoiology professor, I provide high contact instruction using several dynamic approaches to encourage critical thinking and engaged learning in my courses. In my 10th year of being a professor at various institutions, what I find most rewarding is not the awards, the publications, and the earning of tenure and promotion, but the connections I’ve built with my students and colleagues. Community is something we can all build to make us feel safe, seen and respected. This is my goal when I step into any space.
