Biography 

Dr. Banerjee is a bioinorganic chemist and his research interest is in the fields of transition metal uptake and metal utilization by Gram negative bacteria. He was born in Calcutta, India, where he obtained his BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in inorganic chemistry. After PhD, he completed two postdoctoral research positions, at Duke University, USA; and University of Calgary, Canada.
