Dr. Charissa Knihtila is an adjunct instructor in the ABA program at A&M-SA. She is a Doctoral level Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst who has been in the field of ABA since 2005. Charissa has extensive training in functional behavior assessments, verbal behavior, and application of behavior analytic strategies within the field of health & wellness behaviors. She has been working within the realm of academia in ABA since 2018 and her research interests include interventions to support behavior change related to health behavior, specifically self-monitoring and management strategies. Charissa currently teaches adjunct courses for graduate and undergraduate students at two universities, provides individual supervision hours for BCBA candidates, and provides behavior specific wellness coaching for individuals.
