Dr. Elisabeth Krimbill grew up in southern Minnesota.  Her parents raised their family of eight children on a small farm where they raised cattle, pigs, chickens and a variety of crops.  She has dedicated her career to serving others in the field of education and community service.  Dr. Krimbill began her career as a middle school teacher in Northfield, Minnesota.  After her husband served on active duty for five years they settled in San Antonio and raised their three children in this lovely and supportive community.

After serving as an elementary school principal, in 2017 Dr. Krimbill joined the faculty of Texas A&M University-San Antonio in the Educator Leadership Program.  She specializes in Education Law and Ethics, School Leadership, Teacher Evaluation, and Research.  In addition to her teaching and research, she serves the College of Education and Human Development as the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, Chair of the Curriculum Committee, and a member of the Policy Task Force.

As a dedicated community volunteer, Dr. Krimbill also works with several non-profit organizations in San Antonio and the surrounding areas.  She volunteers with Transplants for Children, The Science Mill, and the Summer of Service as a systems developer and data analyst.
