Beu (Eve) Lee


Beu (Eve) Lee is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at College of Business, Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Eve's research lies at regulation of auditing profession, impact of regulatory changes to the accounting industry, audit quality, and financial reporting. Eve has taught Introduction to Financial Accounting, Accounting for Non-Accounting Majors, Preparatory Course in Accounting for MBA, Managerial Accounting for Managers and now teaches Cost Managerial Accounting and Advanced Financial Accounting. Prior to pursuing an academic career, she worked as an auditor and a tax consultant for PwC accounting firm in its Seoul office. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA, active, #217564), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Korea, inactive), and a Certified Tax Accountant (CTA, Korea, inactive). She passed the CPA exam with honor of the highest score on the national test of Cost Managerial Accounting. Eve holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from University of Houston and a Master's in Finance from University of Rochester. She did her undergraduate study in Business Admistration at Korea University in South Korea.
