Xingyuan (Miko) Fei is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the College of Business, Texas A&M University – San Antonio. Miko completed her Ph.D. in Accounting at Questrom School of Business, Boston University. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program at Boston University, she received a Bachelor of Education at Communication University of China, a Master of Science in Accounting at University of Massachusetts Boston, and a Master of Arts in Statistics at Columbia University.

Miko’s teaching expertise spans financial accounting, AIS, and accounting data analytics. Her research agenda focuses on corporate disclosures, financial reporting, analyst behavior, audit pricing, and litigation risk, frequently employing textual analysis methodologies. Her work has been published in notable ABDC-ranked outlets such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Accounting, Auditing & Finance, Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics, Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance, and The Journal of Investing.
