Elizabeth Hasseler

My research focuses on history writing, saints cults, and political culture in high medieval northern Europe. My work has previously appeared in Viator and Speculum, and I am currently completing a monograph entitled Royal Sanctity and the Making of History in High Medieval Scandinavia. I teach courses on medieval Europe, early modern Europe, global history, and historical methods and historiography.
