Mario Baldassari is a lecturer of psychology at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Dr. Baldassari received his BA in Psychology and Spanish at Lake Forest College in 2011 and his Ph.D. in Cognition and Brain Sciences at the University of Victoria in 2017. Prior to arriving at TAMU-SA, he worked as an adjunct instructor in San Antonio. 

Dr. Baldassari is primarily interested in research questions surrounding human memory, more specifically eyewitness memory. He has worked in testing new types of suspect lineups, developing evidence-based eyewitness memory theory, and building predictors for eyewitness identification accuracy. He has also done some work in memory for education. 

Dr. Baldassari teaches many courses, including Research and Statistics, Learning, Writing in Psychology, and The Psychology Major at A&M-SA, and he has taught Introductory Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Psychology and Law, and Psychology of Faces elsewhere. He works to apply student-centered teaching practices as often as possible and maintains the small but keen UNCLOG Lab. In his spare time, he enjoys ice hockey and cooking and traveling with his family.
