Tracy Schluter holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Trinity University and a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin.  Immediately following graduate school, she spent a couple of years working on two federally funded research projects in San Antonio. From there, she spent over 25 years as a business owner and raising a family.  Looking to rediscover her love of Sociology, she began teaching at the college level, where she has been for over 15 years.  She became an adjunct faculty member at Texas A&M University in San Antonio in the spring of 2018.  Tracy teaches courses in health, gender, family, aging, religion, and death and dying
