My teaching philosophy and objectives are to connect students to the natural resources and ecosystem services we depend on for our everyday life while gaining an appreciation for the diversity of life on Earth and its broader meaning to the public including their own community.
Therefore, my goal in the courses I teach is to take concepts we are covering during class and apply them to our environment and then to our community (YOU!).
