Dr. Lorraine Pulido, is the director of communications for the San Antonio Independent School District. Dr. Pulido has more than 30 years of experience in the marketing and communications industry, previously serving as communications manager for VIA Metropolitan Transit and public relations manager for the City of San Antonio. She also serves on the Alamo Colleges District Board of Trustees for District 4 and as an adjunct faculty member in the communications department at Texas A&M University - San Antonio. Dr. Pulido was appointed to the Brooks Development Authority Board of Directors in December 2017, and was elected the first female chair of the Board in 2024.
