Biography

I am an award-winning educator and leader in scholastic journalism, with over 10 years of experience in journalism education and education-specific communication. Ive pitched, managed, reviewed, and edited the design, writing, photography, and publication process for multiple external media including articles, photos, spreads, and social media postings. Ive collaborated with principals, administrators, and directors to enhance various campus and district messaging. More importantly, Ive managed and grown multiple journalists for nearly 10 years. Not only have I been involved with campus and district committees, and state and national journalism boards, but I am an adjunct professor of communication and on a journey to earn my Doctorate in Education.

I have extensive knowledge in communication studies, journalism, publications, public relations, and project management.
