Elizabeth Alanis obtained a Bachelor of Arts of English from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a Master of Science in Publishing from the University of Houston-Victoria. She is the Program Manager for parent Outreach and Engagement at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. She is also adjunct faculty, teaching First-Year seminar courses, which is a class meant to support first-year students in their transition into the University. In her current role, she has spearheaded the implementation of La Familia Parent Program, graduating over 375 parents since 2021. She has successfully supported grant efforts to continue the funding of the department.
She has over 8 years of experience working with college readiness programs such as Linked2Success, Summer JumpSTART, TRIO Upward Bound, and ASPIRE.
