SWTSU  Bachelor of Science  - Geography  1995

SWTSU  Masters of Applied Geography  2003

I began my higher education teaching career in the Fall of 2004 at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin.I have taught various Geography courses over the years at other institutions of higher learning in the San Antonio area. As i begin my 20th year in higher education I reflect on the positive impact that I have had to students along the way. I truly enjoy teaching.

Prior to my arrival to Texas A&M University-San Antonio in January 2010, I also taught Geography at Palo Alto College and Northwest Vista College. I feel my teaching experience at a private university, at the junior college level and at TAMUSA have helped me to become a better educator for a wide range of students and their very diverse backgrounds.

My goal is for my students to not only learn about the various aspects of Geography, but more importantly to learn to be a critical and analytical thinker, and encourage them to do so.
