Nayelli Ramos joined the faculty at Texas A&M - San Antonio in 2022. She is part of the Educator CAFE (Certification, Assessment, and Field Experiences). She specializes in teacher preparation and certification. 

Nayelli holds a M.Ed, from the University of Texas at Austin with an emphasis on Bilingual/Bicultural Education and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio focusing on Bilingual Early Childhood Education. Nayelli is a former Assistant Professor of Practice from The University of Texas at Austin, a bilingual education teacher, Bilingual/ESL Specialist, and Dual Language Specialist. Her current work focuses on equitable dual language programs, biliteracy, and bilingual and ESL teacher preparation.
