Erika Grajeda


 

Biography

 

Dr Grajeda is Assistant Professor in Sociology at Texas A&M University - San Antonio, where she teaches courses on gender, sexuality and research methods. Her areas of specialization include feminist social movements & protest cultures in Latin America, transnational feminism, and immigrant labor organizing in the US. Previously, Dr. Grajeda served as the Mellon Teaching Fellow at Southwestern University. Upon receiving her PhD at the University of Texas, Austin, she served as the Marilyn J. Gittell Postdoctoral Fellow at the CUNY Graduate Center (2016-2019).
