Biography

 

Amber Bowden is an accomplished educator with a diverse background in higher education. Currently serving as a full-time lecturer at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, Amber has dedicated the last seven years to teaching and mentoring students. Her professional journey spans multiple institutions, including Caldwell University, The University of the Arts, and Georgia Southern University, where she gained valuable experience in academic advising, admissions, and student life.

Originally from New York City, Amber brings a unique perspective to her work, drawing on her extensive experience in both urban and rural educational settings. She is deeply committed to fostering student success and has a passion for creating relational connections with her students.

Amber is also pursuing her Doctorate of Education, with an expected graduation date of May 2026. Her academic and professional endeavors reflect her dedication to continuous growth and her desire to make a lasting impact on the lives of her students.
