Jasmyne Thomas is an Adjunct Faculty member in Psychology at Texas A&M University–San Antonio and Northwest Vista College. She has taught Psychological Research Methods and Statistics I and supports undergraduate learning through evidence-based teaching strategies and mentorship.
Her research focuses on social comparison, sense of belonging, and student success at Hispanic-Serving Institutions. She has co-authored multiple manuscripts currently under review and has presented at regional and national conferences, including the Society for Personality and Social Psychology and the Southwest Psychological Association.
In addition to teaching, Ms. Thomas serves as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Social Comparison Research Laboratory at Texas A&M University–San Antonio, supported by a National Science Foundation grant. Her work emphasizes building inclusive academic environments where students thrive academically and personally.
